Programme Overview:
The Master of Architecture is a full-time professional programme that aims to serve as a continuation of architectural study for graduates who hold a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (Honours) degree. The former is equivalent to the Part II examination of the Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) and the latter is equivalent to Part I. LAM Part II qualification is necessary for a graduate who intends to apply for registration as "Graduate Architect", which is a prerequisite for registration as an "Architect" upon passing the LAM III Professional Examination.

Minimum Entry Requirement
Minimum Entry Requirements
A recognised Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) Part 1 Degree in Architecture or the equivalent; AND
A minimum of 6 months practical experience after graduating from the first stage of architectural education at a registered architect office, approved architectural-related organization or practice within the building industry; AND
Pass portfolio interview conducted by TAR UMT.

English Language Requirements
1) Malaysian Students
MUET Band 3.5 or IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 40 or equivalent; OR
Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
2) International Students
IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 40 equivalent OR
Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
