Minimum Entry Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent qualification as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR

• A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in the field or related fields or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; OR

• Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant field must :

a) Meet the minimum CGPA based on i. to ii.,

b) Achieve at least level B2 of CEFR (or its equivalent) in the language of instruction,  AND

c) Undergo prerequisite courses (Introduction to Linguistics, Phonetics, Syntax, Semantics or the equivalence of these courses).

English Language Requirements

1) Malaysian Students

• MUET Band 4.0/ IELTS Band 6.0/ CEFR Mid B2/ TOEFL iBT 60/ equivalent; OR

• Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English

2) International Students

• IELTS Band 6.0/ CEFR Mid B2/ TOEFL iBT 60/ equivalent; OR

• Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
