Programme Overview:
A Master's degree in engineering provides graduates with advanced analytical skills and technology literacy to conduct research through the pursuit of specialized study in Materials, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Telecommunication and Electrical & Electronics engineering. Graduates develop an objective approach to problem identification and solution to real-world problems while communicating their findings to the scientific community as well as industrial professionals.

Minimum Entry Requirement
Minimum Entry Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in the area of Engineering/Engineering Technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent grade which is approved by Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology or another recognized university as approved by the Senate; OR
A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6, MQF) in the area of Engineering/Engineering Technology not meeting a CGPA of 2.75 but above 2.50 can be accepted, subject to rigorous internal assessment which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology Senate; OR
A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6, MQF) in the area of Engineering/Engineering Technology with lower than 2.50 with 5 years of relevant working experience in the field of study which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology Senate.
NOTE: Degree holders of Bachelor of Science and Technology (non-engineering or engineering technology) with a CGPA above 2.50 but less than 2.75 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.
English Language Requirements
1) Malaysian Students
MUET Band 3.5/ IELTS Band 5.0/ CEFR High B1/ TOEFL iBT 40/ equivalent; OR
Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
2) International Students
IELTS Band 5.0/ CEFR High B1/ TOEFL iBT 40/ equivalent; OR
Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
