TAR UMT and Hebei Academy of Social Sciences (HEASS) Formalise Strategic Partnership to Advance Academic and Research Collaboration

Kuala Lumpur, 15 October 2026 – Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) has formalised a strategic partnership with the Hebei Academy of Social Sciences (HEASS) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement is to strengthen academic and research collaboration activities between Malaysia and China.
Building on the existing research collaboration on retirement security for workers in Malaysia and China, the MoU further expands institutional cooperation by establishing a broader framework for academic and research initiatives. This partnership aims to foster knowledge exchange, promote collaborative research opportunities, and strengthen long-term institutional ties, reflecting both institutions' shared commitment to advancing academic and research excellence between Malaysia and China.
