Programme Overview:
The Master of Education is a coursework-based programme which aims to further assist graduates to be trained in the relevant areas of education and cultivate their skills as educators of the New Academia. The Master of Education programme provides 3 areas of specialization, Technology in Education, Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and English as a Second Language (ESL), for educators to choose from. Each specialization area with experts handling the courses will cultivate the educators' skills to guide their students of the 21st century towards outstanding achievements in their respective fields of expertise.

Minimum Entry Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in education field (Level 6, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
A Bachelor’s degree in education field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; OR
A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 must undergo prerequisite courses; OR
A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment AND must undergo prerequisite courses; OR
Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by Malaysian government as equivalent to the above requirements.
English Language Requirements
1) Malaysian Students
MUET Band 3.5/ IELTS Band 5.0/ CEFR High B1/ TOEFL iBT 40/ equivalent; OR
Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was the English Language
2) International Students
Achieve (MUET) or any English competency test equivalent to a Low B1 Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).; OR
Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was the English Language
