The official launch of the SEARCH BRI Scholar Commentary Series and Junior Comic Book
The Southeast Asia Research Centre for Humanities (SEARCH) successfully hosted the Launch Ceremony for the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Book Series on 14 October 2024. The event highlighted two significant publications: the BRI Scholar Commentary Series and an engaging Junior Comic Book, both of which explore the profound impact of the BRI and the strong bilateral relationship between China and Malaysia.
The BRI Scholar Commentary Series is a collaborative project between SEARCH and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT). This series provides in-depth academic perspectives on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Each chapter explores topics such as infrastructure development, cultural exchange, trade partnerships, and sustainable growth. It offers valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities associated with the BRI. The series aims to foster intellectual discourse and enhance understanding among policymakers, scholars, and the public regarding the broader geopolitical and socio-economic implications of this initiative.
